City of Oxford College is spread across two campuses in the county’s capital – itself world-renowned as a centre of excellence for teaching and learning.
The Oxpens Road campus benefits from excellent links with the West End of the city centre, providing high footfall for an increasing range of commercial outlets on campus.
A £6m redevelopment of the campus created new, state-of-the-art hair and beauty salons, run in conjunction with Wella, a fitness suite and a vibrant student services and employment hub. The development maximised the campus’ riverside setting, providing new outdoor exhibition and cafe space and a new river boardwalk.
Our Blackbird Leys campus, located to the south east of the city centre, is a specialist centre for construction and new technologies. It provides a range of skills-based courses to prepare students for careers in construction, as well as offering professional courses and apprenticeships with leading employers. We have received funding for the development of a new technologies centre at the Blackbird Leys campus, opening in September 2016.
