Health and support teams were on hand to talk to students at City of Oxford College as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.
College Nurse, Gill Foster, and Student Engagement Adviser, Georgia Pravda, answered questions about the support available at college and how to access services to help manage issues and maintain good mental health.
The team also handed out love heart sweets with positive affirmations, stress-relief balls and comprehensive leaflets about local mental-health services.
Throughout the week, there will be an online ‘Wall of Hope’, where staff and students can share what they do to help them feel good and stay positive. A further online wall, called Scenarios, will offer information and advice each day.
The online walls are available directly via the computers in the Advice and Admissions area, on the ground floor of Dorn, or from any PC via the following links

Sweets and stress-relief balls will continue to be available throughout the week on the ground floor of Dorn. You can also contact email@example.com if you have any queries regarding the Student Support Team’s services.
